This Pediatric Feeding Seminar qualifies as 5 credits towards the Pediatric Feeding Certification™Program. There is a separate fee for the certification program payable on the first day of the seminar or by visiting the Pediatric Feeding Certification website.
After attending the two part series seminar, the participant should be able to:
- List ways to address management of higher textured foods.
- Teach coping strategies to parents and caregivers of children with feeding disorders.
- Learn how to implement protocols in order to transition a child with a feeding tube to consume necessary caloric intake by mouth
- Learn how to generalize eating to a child's natural eating environment.

- Learn GI problems that contribute to feeding problems.
- Increase food intake to meet the caloric needs as determined by a dietician
- Increase acceptance of a variety of foods
- Decrease refusal behaviors associated with feeding
